A day with Silverswift is all about being in the water and experiencing the magical underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. It's exciting, exotic and breathtaking! With our exclusive permits and remote sites, you'll be able to dive and snorkel 3 uniquely different and ecologically diverse sites, each chosen to suit the day's conditions. In between water activities, relax on the sundecks, or in the air-conditioned lounges, and of course, enjoy a delicious lunch for hungry adventurers! Itinerary - Your Day: From 07:30: Check in at the Silverswift counter inside the Reef Fleet terminal for your boarding passes. 08:15: Vessel boarding. Complimentary morning tea/breakfast served. 08:30: Depart Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal for the Outer Reef. On the outward journey, certified and introductory dive briefings begin. 09:50: Arrive at first reef location. Divers gear up, while the snorkellers' site briefing begins. Get ready to view the beauty of this natural wonder! 11:15: Silverswift departs for the second reef location. Option for introductory divers and certified divers to do a second dive. Snorkellers' site briefing. 12:30: Tropical hot and cold buffet lunch served in the air-conditioned cabin. 13:40: Silverswift departs for the third reef location. Snorkellers are once again briefed as to the best areas to snorkel and Guided Snorkel Tour. Option for certified divers to do a third dive or a second introductory dive. 14:15: Afternoon tea served. 15:00: All passengers board the vessel for the final passenger count. 15:15: Silverswift commences return journey to Cairns. 16:30: Silverswift arrives at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal. 16:55: oaches depart for accommodation.

Start: Reef Fleet Terminal, Cairns
What to Bring: Swimwear, a towel, and sunglasses. Hat and shirt for sun protection. We recommend marine-friendly sunscreen. Certification card for certified divers. Camera. Drones are not permitted. Cash or a credit card for additional dives or drinks at the bar. Drink container for the onboard water fountain. Conditions: Child rates apply for 4-14 years. Infants 0-3 years travel free of charge. A Government Environmental Management Charge is payable by all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. This charge is included in the total price shown. Presentation of a valid photo ID or the credit card used to book is required for verification purposes at check-in. Times may vary subject to sites visited: On rare occasions, services can be subject to the effect of weather or unforeseen circumstances requiring changes to the scheduled itinerary. Snorkelling can be a strenuous activity and you will be exerting yourself more than usual. If you are older age, or suffer from heart disease, asthma, lung complaints, epilepsy, diabetes, any allergies or any other medical condition which can be made worse by physical exertion, you should take special caution and inform our lifeguards of your situation and snorkel in an area that allows closer supervision. Flotation devices are recommended and should be worn by older age persons and those with medical conditions or poor swimming ability. Restrictions: The minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years.
